Butley Priory Wedding Photos - Jessica and Martin

It's not often that you see a wedding car with a competition clutch and nearly no internal trim. That's probably because most wedding cars aren't also competition rally cars. Rally Driver Paul Dumbill tentatively lent his Honda Civic to his groom son and best man to get them to the venue on time!
That venue was Butley priory, close to Woodbridge, Suffolk. It's a beautiful place to get married, and we love photographing weddings there, especially when the weather is as fine as it was for Jessica and Martin.
The rally car wasn't the only mode of transport available, thankfully, and bride Jessica arrived in more traditional fashion.
Their ceremony was a multilingual affair, as there was plenty of welsh family in attendance, and Jessica's dog even made an appearance.

Wordwell, Bury St Edmunds Wedding Photos - Heather and Tom

There's definitely a trend toward unique, personalised weddings, often at unusual venues, which is really nice. Heather and Tom chose to have their relaxed wedding in a field!
Rather than choose a grand venue for their reception, after the ceremony in Bury St Edmunds they were taken in their own classic VW camper van to a farm in Wordwell, near Bury St Edmunds for their tipi/camping themed reception.
We were delighted to be able to capture some really relaxed, natural photos of Heather and Tom, especially in the evening.
