Wedding Photography at Abbots Hall, Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket
Post Date: Friday, 12 October 2018
Our second time this year shooting at Abbots Hall, at the Museum of East Anglian Life with the lovely Weddings For You By Marie. This was a wedding with a difference. Officiated by Michelle Taylor Celebrant, Carly & Ben had a "jumping the broom" ceremony and eveything the opposite of traditional. The Sam Lewis Band set the mood for the evening with some classics.

Poppy & Sam's wedding at Abbots Barn (a little gem tucked away in the Suffolk countryside near Bury St Edmunds), was full of fun and I got to take photos of some of my favourite things... tweed bow-ties, a VW Campervan, a perfect sunset, and best of all, a 1950s tea-length dress to die for!

When Emma emailed us saying "I found you by searching 'quirky wedding photography'", we never dreamed we'd end up photographing such an amazing and unique event. From Emma's hand-made veil, the Shakespearean actors, bride and groom playing in the orchestra, the kazoo-playing friend during the ceremony, right through to the ceilidh band and dancing outside the teepees with the sunset as the backdrop, this wedding was a never to be repeated, beautiful day, with a perfectly matched couple to go along with it....
